Privacy notice

What we collect

Only what you give us when you join the list:

• your email address (required);
• your gno.land address, if you choose to add it;
• the topics you tick, and the date and time you agreed to receive email.

Your gno.land address is public on the blockchain already; we use it only to link your testnet season badges to your signup.

Why we collect it

To send you de.loan news: testnet and mainnet launches, season dates and important changes. We rely on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email.

Where it is kept and who sees it

Your details are stored on de.loan's own server in the European Union (Finland), in a database only the signup service can read. An encrypted daily backup is kept by the de.loan team, and only the team can open it. Only the de.loan team has access. We do not use an outside email service yet; if we start using one to send the newsletter, we will name it here before any of your data is shared with it. We never sell your data or share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. After that we keep only what is needed to make sure we do not email you again.

If you email us

Mail to support@deloan.xyz is received and stored on the same server, not by an outside email provider. We keep your message and address to answer you, for as long as we need them for that, and delete them sooner if you ask. Incoming mail is checked for spam on the server; nothing is sent to an outside filtering service.

Cookies and similar storage

The site sets no cookies. It stores one small item in your browser to remember your privacy choice.

We do not count visits today. If we start, we will use a tool that sets no cookies and does not follow you to other sites, name it here, and load it only if you choose "Accept". If you choose "Only essential", nothing else is ever loaded. You can change your mind with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page.

Server logs

Our web server records requests (the page, the time and the response) without your IP address or browser details, and keeps these records for 14 days. To stop abuse of the signup form it briefly counts requests per IP address in memory; that count is never written to disk.

Our mail server logs, for each message, the time, the sender and recipient addresses and the IP address of the sending server, and keeps these logs for up to five weeks to deliver mail and stop abuse. Addresses that repeatedly fail to log in to it are blocked for an hour.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time by writing to support@deloan.xyz, by sending a direct message to @deloan_ on X, or by replying to any email we send you. If you are in the EU or UK you can also complain to your data protection authority.

The app is separate

The de.loan app talks directly to the gno.land blockchain from your browser. Transactions you make there are public by nature and are not covered by this notice.
